04.22.2006 - Lots of news! Upcoming investigations at some amazing locations!
Yes, you are reading that right... after a long period of down time PPI has some upcoming investigations, and we are very excited. This spring we will be conducting investigations at two of the most famous places in the Philadelphia area. First on the list is Fort Mifflin which we will be doing first. Today I talked to a very nice guy named Lee who is the director of public programming at Fort Mifflin. Lee was very friendly and helpful, hopefully within the next two weeks we will be at the Fort. The other upcoming investigation we have is the legendary Eastern State Penitentiary! Hopefully we will conduct our investigation at Eastern State sometime in May.
In other news, we have some new equipment. Tonight Mallory, Baillie, Chris and I all went to Best Buy in Delaware (yay, tax free shopping!)and picked up a brand new Sony DCR-HC26 Mini-DV camera! This camera is amazing to say the least. The nightshot is far superior to the other leading name brand cameras out there at the moment and the digital quallity really shows when you are fully zoomed in, it looks crystal clear! We will be picking up another EMF detector (a digital one), another IR thermometer, extra batteries for all of our cameras, and some extra memory sticks for our digital still shot cameras this coming week. We are gearing up for the upcoming investigations.
Last but not least, we have a new addition to PPI. Our friend Geoff has expressed lots of interest in the paranormal and is now officially a member in training. Please welcome Geoff to the team.

04.20.2006 - Some updates to the website.
We have just made some updates to our website. The evidence page is now up and running. There have also been some small changes to a few other pages. For now there is nothing else to report. We are still trying to get some advertising going for our services. Look for PPI adds to appear in the Daily Times and Town Talk in the near future. Keep checking back for more information.

03.15.2006 - PPI's new website is online! Recent down time.
Welcome to our brand new website! I finally found the time to finish building our actual website. We hope you enjoy the look of the site. We have had lots of down time recently. Since our investigation of the Plank House in October we havent really done much in the way of investigating. We have not been taking a break because we want to, we just dont have any place to investigate at the moment. Durring our down time we picked up some new equipment. We have added another digital camera to our gear as well as an EMF detector and a thermometer gun. We may have an investigation coming up soon, so check back for more information.

10.17.2006 - UNIV-CON 2005 report.
We are back at home now after spending 3 days in State College, PA for UNIV-CON 2005. What a trip! We got to sit in on a lecture by Ron Milione of TAPS. Ron develops and builds most of the gear used by TAPS, and we got to see how some of his most popular equipment works. We also got to see some new equipment that he is working on including the soon to be famous "dude, run!" box. We met Jason & Grant after Ron's lecture and talked to them for quite some time. Later that night we went to a dinner with the key note speakers from univ-con and that was a disaster. The place was filled and the food took forever to get served, and when it was finally served our orders were wrong and the food was cold and we had to leave to head back to the campus for Jason & Grant's lecture. We got a front row seat for their lecture, and before hand there was a slide show on a huge projection screen and we were shocked and honored to see that PPI was listed as one of the paranormal groups attending the conference! Jason & Grant gave a very informative and interesting lecture. After that was over we got to hang out with Jason & Grant again for about an hour. They took a look at some video evidence we recorded recently that we werent too sure about. Their opinion was similar to ours, it could have been something but because it was caught with super-night shot its is really hard to tell either way, so it really cant be used as evidence. It was an honor for us to get to know Jason & Grant, they were very nice. Overall the weekend was amazing.

10.14.2005 - On our way to UNIV-CON. Upcoming investigation!
We are leaving for UNIV-CON within the hour. We will be gone for 3 days and we will have a report for you when we return. The real reason for this news post is to announce that we have an upcoming investigation. We just got off the phone with a man who lives a few towns away. He owns a house that is a historical landmark and local legends claim the house belonged to te mistress of Blackbeard the pirate. Apparently there are lots of reports of strange things happening at the house. We will be investigating the place next Saturday.

10.05.2005 - PPI will be at UNIV-CON 2005!
We have some exciting news. PPI will be attending UNIV-CON 2005 at Penn State's main campus in State College, PA. UNIV-CON is the largest paranormal conference on the east coast and is run by Penn States own Paranormal group. This year looks like it is going to be very exciting and informative. Some of the key speakers at the conference will be Lou Gentile, John Zaffis, and last but not least Jason Hawes & Grant Wilson of TAPS! We will be at the conference for the full 3 days (October 14 - October 16).
